Dr. Brenda Yayra Opong brings extensive leadership and regulatory experience to her role as Vice President of the Ghana Cooperative Credit Union. As Acting Head of Registration and Licensing at the Pharmacy Council, she demonstrates strong administrative and policy implementation skills. Her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and master’s in public health, specializing in Health Policy, Planning and Management, provide a robust foundation for strategic decision-making. Samuel Quayson, our esteemed Treasurer, brings a wealth of experience from the healthcare industry to our credit union’s Board. With a B.Pharm from KNUST and 14 years of expertise in sales and marketing, Mr. Quayson has consistently demonstrated leadership and innovation. His career spans prestigious companies like BD West Africa, Pfizer, and Sanofi, where he has received multiple awards for his outstanding performance. As Territory Manager at BD, he significantly increased revenue and expanded product portfolios. Mr. Quayson’s strategic thinking, financial acumen, and commitment to growth make him an invaluable asset to our credit union, ensuring sound fiscal management and forward-thinking leadership.

Rev. Samuel De-Graft Sanjock is a dedicated pharmacist with over 20 years of experience in industrial pharmacy. Currently serving as the Acting Managing Director at Entrance Pharmaceutical and Research Centre, he brings a wealth of expertise in pharmaceutical production and management. Rev. Sanjock holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from KNUST and a Diploma in Theology. As a minister of the gospel and senior pastor at Assemblies of God Ghana, Living Grace Chapel, he combines his professional acumen with spiritual leadership. His diverse background, including roles as Production Manager and Product Development Pharmacist, along with his commitment to quality and regulatory compliance, makes him an asset to our Board of Directors.

Dr. Anna Naa Kwarley Quartey brings a wealth of expertise to the Ghana Cooperative Credit Union Board. Currently serving as the Cluster Business Operations head for English West Africa at Novartis, Philip brings over 15 years of experience in strategic management, market development, and stakeholder engagement. His expertise spans roles at global pharmaceutical giants like Sanofi and Pfizer, where he consistently exceeded targets and launched successful initiatives. As Chairman of the Association of Representatives of Ethical Pharmaceutical Industries (AREPI) and a board member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana, Philip demonstrates a commitment to shaping industry policies and improving healthcare access. Currently serving as a Member Care Officer at the Ghana Co-operative Pharmacists’ Credit Union Ltd., Leticia brings a wealth of expertise in customer service, loan processing, and administrative management. Her educational background in Management Studies, coupled with various professional certifications, demonstrates her commitment to continuous learning and growth. As a member of the Loans Committee, Leticia applies her in-depth knowledge of financial operations and customer relations to make informed decisions.
